I’ve been wondering why someone would want the iPad Camera Connection Kit – the magical peripheral that enables you to upload photos directly to your magical tablet. After all, you could simply sync your iPad with your computer after you’ve moved your photos from your camera.

It was my wife who convinced me that this was a Good Thing to have for the iPad: snap photos at events or on vacation, offload them to your iPad and start viewing them (and sharing them) immediately on the iPad’s beautiful screen. Yeah, that makes sense to me.

However, it looks like I have even more reasons to get my hands on one of these.

Apple Delays International Launch of iPad Until May [UPDATE]

International iPad Launch Delayed Until MayFor gadget lovers outside the United States waiting patiently for your iPad, this news isn’t going to make you any happier.

Blaming “surprisingly strong demand” Apple has made the tough decision to postpone the release of the WiFi iPad outside the U.S. until it can meet demand here. No specific date has been announced.

[UPDATE] TUAW reports that pre-orders for the UK, Canada, France, Australia and Germany will start on May 10th.

Review: Apple iPad Keyboard Dock
