Are bikinis and boobs coming back to Apple’s App Store? With the addition of the new “Explicit” category, they just may.
A developer has informed Cult of Mac about the inclusion of the new category, even providing screen shots from the iTunesWebConnect web site. (Screen capture after the jump.)
The addition of this category could hint at a “Mature Audiences-Only” section of the App Store which would hide these types of apps from kids, teens and even grown-ups who might find these types of apps offensive. Does that mean they’ll loosen up their requirements and allow more racier apps, as well?
I’d guess not. However, the segregation of these apps could make life easier for everyone. Or more difficult.
